‘I Need Husband’ — 46-year-old Self-acclaimed ‘Virgin’ Cries Out

A 46-year-old Nigerian woman broke down in tears while revealing she has never been married, is “still a virgin,” and is struggling with spiritual battles.
In a recent interview on Agidigbo FM, the woman, who chose to remain anonymous, said despite being hardworking and independent since her youth, she has faced constant rejection and isolation.
She shared her desire for a romantic partner, explaining that ‘I’m not the one pushing men away. Those who approach me either see me as too old or only want intimacy”.
“I have been making money since I was young. All of a sudden, everything went down. I am not the only child of my parent. There are many, but I am the only one still with her. The other children also have challenges. I am 46 years old. I have never had sex. If there’s anything you can use to test me, you can do it,” she said.
“I am not the one pursuing the men away from me. I am selling goods. I do not like following men all around, but I do know how to run after men. Three years ago, I discovered that men see me as an aged woman.
“When children see me, they call me grandma. I noticed that it was becoming too much. That is why I am here for you to help me.”
She said she believes her struggles may be spiritual, recalling a prayer session where she was told “a veil has been placed over me, blocking my blessings”.
‘
“I have gone to the mountains to pray about it. During one of the prayer sessions, I was told a veil had been used to cover me and had not allowed me to receive help,” she said.
“Only married men approached me. And they only want sex.”
Around last year, a 38-year-old entrepreneur, Ella Ada, took to social media to shop for a husband.
Ada stated that she needed a submissive husband whom she would pay N50m if he consented to marry her.
In a video that went viral online, Ada could be seen holding a placard which read, “I need a husband. N50 million to anyone that will marry me.”
She also stated her age, while assuring any man who agreed to marry her that hunger wouldn’t kill him (couple), even as she showed off her poultry farm.
She said, “Hello guys, so this is my poultry farm. If you know that you want to marry me, come forward. You should know that hunger will not kill you.”
Showing off her poultry, she continued, “I own this farm. Just say, ‘Yes Ella, I want to marry you’, and be a submissive husband. All I need is a submissive man.
“Don’t bother about the marriage rites. I will be the one to sponsor everything. I don’t want my husband to suffer, I just need a very caring husband. I don’t need you to work; all you have to do is stay at home, watch television, bath and take care of my kids.”
She added that she would place the ‘lucky man’ on a salary.
“I will pay you salary every month. I have a poultry and a pig farm. I have what it takes to keep a husband. I am a hard-working lady. Guys this is the opportunity; come and marry me. I want a man who will not cheat on me.
“Just be a submissive husband. All I need is a very caring and submissive man. Don’t bother about the wedding, I will be the one to sponsor it. I don’t want my husband to suffer at all,” she said.
She added that she wanted a man who could cook and would be submissive.
She added, “If you know that you are very serious, send me a DM (direct message). I have four tricycles, 10 plots of land here in Enugu and five tippers. I have everything; just name what you need. I am currently building a home in Aba.”
She, however, stated that she did not want a man that was after her money. This was even as she added that a married man who had a nagging wife could leave the woman and marry her.
Reacting to Ada’s proposal, Tek Nika wrote, “Just look for a signboard and write that you need a servant and not a husband.”
Joel added, “You are describing a house boy, not a husband.”
Meanwhile, Suraj wrote, “Oya, send a deposit, (and) I’ll be on my way in two hours.”
