ANOTHER HORROR! Cultists Beg For Mercy As Fearless Policemen Brutally Slaughter 2 Dangerous Cult Leaders In Rivers
In a decisive operation conducted in Oderereke community, situated in the Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, the Police Command reported the successful neutralization of a notorious cult leader, Silas Oderereke, commonly known as ‘ General, ‘ along with an accomplice. This operation, marked by a fierce exchange of gunfire, was a culmination of relentless efforts to apprehend Oderereke, who had been evading the authorities for a staggering four years.
Grace Iringe- Koko, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, officially confirmed the demise of these two cultists through a statement issued in Port Harcourt. Oderereke, as the leader of the Greenlanders’ cult group operating in the Ubie clan within Ahoada West, had been a fugitive, orchestrating a range of criminal activities, including armed robbery, land grabbing, unauthorized sale of buildings, and brutal attacks against those opposing his gang.
The unfolding of events leading to the confrontation sheds light on the audacity of Oderereke and his gang. On January 11, 2024, the police received intelligence regarding an ongoing robbery operation orchestrated by Oderereke’ s gang. This operation also involved the vandalization of the property belonging to the late monarch, Eze Robinson O. Robinson. Responding swiftly to the information, the police pursued the criminals out of town. However, Oderereke, displaying defiance, rallied his gang, launching an audacious attack on a community- owned tank farm in Oderereke, with the intention of looting its contents.
