Native Doctor, 2 Others Invade Graveyard, Exhume Dead Bodies, Remove Body Parts; See Their Reason For This Act
The security operatives of the Amotekun corpse in Iwo town, which is situated in Osun state have apprehended and detained a native doctor, a cat mechanic who is 43 years of age along with a commercial car driver, 56 years of age on suspicion of digging out dead bodies from their graves and removing needed body parts with the aim of selling them to clients for purpose of money ritual.
However, the correspondent of the Amotekun corps, Mr. Adeniyi Brown made this disclosure to the general public on Wednesday, 13th December 2023 via a press report issued in Osogbo, the capital city of the state saying that the above- mentioned trio were caught at night at a cemetery in the region while in the act of exhuming corpses, removing some vital body parts in order to be used for ritual while commending the residents of the region for hunting the security agency on the suspicious activity perpetrated by the suspect which led to their arrests
Explaining further, the corps spokesperson went on to say that, after series of interrogation, the culprits admitted that they were known for getting body parts of dead people for clients who contact them for money ritual, adding that they’ re usually paid half of the money before service and the remaining balance is completed after the job is done but unfortunately for them, they ran out of luck after several successful operations in the past.
