EXPOSED: Akpabio Demanded Sex From Senator Natasha? Jonathan’s Ex- Aide Drops Shocking Claim
Jackson Ude, a former aide to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan and an independent journalist, has made serious allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. According to Ude, Akpabio has been making unwanted sexual advances towards Senator Natasha Akpoti- Uduaghan, leading to tensions between them in the National Assembly.
In a post on X, as cited by the LATEST_NEWS Blog, Ude claimed that Akpabio persistently sought a romantic relationship with Senator Akpoti- Uduaghan. Her repeated refusal, according to anonymous Senate insiders, has caused a strained relationship between the two lawmakers.
Ude’ s post quoted a source within the Senate as saying: ” See your waist. Your husband is enjoying ooo. You should come and see me one day. ”
These remarks were allegedly made by Akpabio towards Akpoti- Uduaghan in what some Senators initially dismissed as a joke. However, an unnamed Senator noted that the Senate President would likely exploit any opportunity if she ever conceded to his advances.
Another Senator, speaking anonymously, alleged that Akpabio had a history of inappropriate behaviour, claiming: ” Akpabio is very vindictive. He slept with most of the females in his government when he was Governor of Akwa Ibom State. We know him like that. And if he doesn’ t have his way, he will become vindictive. ”
Beyond allegations of sexual harassment, Akpabio has been accused of politically sidelining Senator Akpoti- Uduaghan in the Senate. Ude recalled a controversial incident in which Akpabio prevented her from speaking, stating: ” Senator Natasha, you cannot speak without being asked or invited to speak in the Senate. This is not a nightclub. ”

Following public backlash, Akpabio later apologised for the nightclub remark, which many believed was a deliberate attempt to demean the Kogi lawmaker. However, tensions have persisted, with reports suggesting that Akpoti- Uduaghan has been systematically silenced during Senate proceedings.
The most recent escalation occurred when Senator Akpoti- Uduaghan attempted to present a bill for the establishment of a Diaspora Bank to benefit Nigerians living abroad. According to sources, Akpabio refused to grant her permission to speak, despite her raising her hand.
Frustrated by the persistent suppression, Akpoti- Uduaghan openly challenged the Senate President, leading to her eviction from the chamber on his orders. Reports also indicate that Akpabio is now considering suspending her from the Senate altogether.
