TAKE HEED! Fayemi Warns Nigerians Against These Set Of Politicians; SEE Explosive Details
Former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has cautioned Nigerians against being misled by politicians who engage in deceptive public disagreements. He warned that these so- called conflicts are often nothing more than distractions aimed at diverting attention from the country’ s pressing governance issues.
Fayemi issued this warning while speaking at an event held in celebration of his 60th birthday. He explained that political clashes and disputes frequently showcased in the media should not be taken seriously, as they are primarily staged to entertain the public rather than reflect genuine animosity.
” So, all these things you read on social media are for your entertainment, ” Fayemi emphasized, highlighting how many political disagreements are exaggerated or entirely fabricated.
He further illustrated his point by referencing his cordial relationships with political figures who, on the surface, may appear to be his rivals. He mentioned former Ekiti State Governor Segun Oni, revealing that he had spent the entire day with him during Oni’ s recent birthday celebrations. Fayemi also noted that another former governor, Ayodele Fayose, would have been present at his birthday event if he had been available.
According to Fayemi, the idea that politicians are bitter enemies simply because they belong to different parties is misleading. He stressed that despite varying political affiliations, many politicians maintain close relationships behind the scenes, particularly those from Ekiti State.
Ultimately, Fayemi’ s message was a call for greater awareness among Nigerians, urging them to look beyond political theatrics and focus on holding leaders accountable for governance and development. He emphasized that genuine progress would come from prioritizing national and state interests rather than being distracted by political performances designed for public consumption.
