SHOCKING Twist In Ataga Murder Case: Chidinma Confesses To Spiking Drink! EXCLUSIVE Details Revealed By Police DSP In Court
In the Lagos High Court, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Olusegun Bamidele disclosed that Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder case of Super TV CEO Usifo Ataga, admitted to spiking Ataga’ s drink. Testifying before Justice Yetunde Adesanya, Bamidele, from the State Criminal Investigating Department (SCID) Yaba, shared details during cross- examination by defense counsel Onwuka Egwu.
Chidinma, a Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos, is on trial alongside her sister, Chioma Egbuchu, and Adedapo Quadri. During the hearing, a video depicting the last moments of Ataga and Chidinma was played, focusing on items listed as evidence. Egwu questioned the authenticity of these items, particularly a blood- stained t- shirt mentioned in Bamidele’ s report. The officer clarified that the t- shirt was with the DNA office for analysis, making it unavailable for court presentation.
Further inquiries delved into the contents of a nylon bag seen in the video. While Bamidele confirmed its presence on the table, he admitted not inspecting it, emphasizing that the video aimed to establish the presence of both the defendant and the deceased.
Egwu pressed on the issue of electronic gadgets recovered, questioning if Chidinma claimed the MacBook was a gift. Bamidele stated she acknowledged taking two phones and a MacBook when leaving the apartment but did not assert ownership.
