SHOCKING! See The Moment Church Members Caught Gospel Singer With His Girlfriend’s Head In A Nylon Bag
The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested a gospel singer, Timilehin Ajayi, for allegedly murdering and dismembering his 24- year- old girlfriend, Salome Enejo, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, for suspected ritual purposes.
The command’ s spokesperson, Ramhan Nansel, confirmed that Enejo, who was serving in Abuja, was brutally killed by Ajayi. The suspect was apprehended on Sunday in Orozo, a community bordering Abuja and Nasarawa State, after churchgoers caught him carrying a bag containing the severed head of his girlfriend.
According to Caleb Umaru, a church Bible Study Teacher and General Secretary, a member of the congregation noticed Ajayi acting suspiciously near a river during the service. The member alerted others when Ajayi was seen throwing a black nylon bag into the river. Upon retrieval, the bag was found to contain the severed head of the victim.
Umaru recounted, ” It was just before the end of the service around 11 a. m. A church member, Brother Victor, saw someone moving suspiciously by the river. When he and another member, Brother Amos, approached Ajayi, the suspect denied throwing anything into the river. Suspicious, they later followed him, prompting Ajayi to flee, but he was chased down and apprehended. ”
Ajayi was handed over to the police, who arrived at the scene and rescued him from a mob attempting to attack him. Further investigation led police to the suspect’ s residence, where they found two sacks containing Enejo’ s mutilated body.
Nansel stated, ” The suspect was rescued from the crowd and is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained. Investigators uncovered the victim’ s dismembered remains at his apartment. The victim, identified as 24- year- old Salome Enejo, has been recognized by her parents. She was serving as an NYSC member in Abuja. ”
This incident comes months after a similar case reported on October 11, 2023, involving Benjamin Nnanyereugo, alias KillaBoi, who was declared wanted for the murder of his girlfriend, Augusta Osedion, in Lagos State.
The Nasarawa State Police Command has commenced a thorough investigation into Ajayi’ s case, seeking justice for the victim and her family.
