Boavista Ready To Sell Super Eagles’ Bruno Onyemaechi For €6 Million
Portuguese football club Boavista placed a €6 million price tag on their promising left-back, Bruno Onyemaechi.
Bruno Onyemaechi, a 25-year-old Nigerian international has garnered strong interest from Trabzonspor, a club in the Turkish Süper Lig, which indicates his rising profile in European football.
Onyemaechi’s current contract with Boavista runs for another 18 months, adding to the urgency for potential buyers to secure his services.
After spending his entire professional career in Portugal, he appears to be open to the prospect of moving to Turkey, suggesting a willingness to embrace new challenges in a different footballing environment.
The defender initially joined Boavista on loan from CD Feirense during the 2022-2023 season. His impressive performances led to a permanent transfer being finalized in the subsequent season, highlighting his capability and value to the team.
So far this season, Onyemaechi has made 15 league appearances for Boavista, contributing significantly with two goals and one assist. His performances have been crucial for the Black and Whites as they navigate the challenges of the league, further solidifying his reputation as a key player.
Note that Bruno Onyemaechi who has been playing for Boavista since August 17, 2022, has played a total of 74 games in all competitions for the Portuguese side, scoring four goals and providing two assists. He is yet to win any major title for the club.
