BREAKING! FG Declares Public Holidays For Yuletide Celebrations; See Days
The Federal Government has officially declared December 25 and 26, 2024, as public holidays to celebrate Christmas and Boxing Day, respectively. Furthermore, January 1, 2025, has been designated as a holiday to mark the New Year.
The announcement was made on Monday, December 23, 2024, by Dr. Oluwatoyin Akinlade, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, on behalf of the government. In her statement, Dr. Akinlade extended warm wishes to all Christians and Nigerians as they prepare for the Yuletide celebrations.
