HORRIBLE! Native Doctor, Apprentice Lured Minor Into An Uncompleted Building, Cut Off His THROAT For For Ritual
The Delta State Police Command has apprehended Destiny Ogbeh, an apprentice of a native doctor, in connection with the tragic murder of eight- year- old Progress Agidi for alleged ritualistic purposes. This shocking incident occurred on Saturday, November 14, in Owa Alero, located in the Ika North- East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Details Of The Incident
According to Bright Edafe, the state’ s Police Public Relations Officer, Destiny Ogbeh lured the young boy to his master, a native doctor, who subsequently killed him in an uncompleted building. Edafe explained on his social media platform that another native doctor had instructed Ogbeh to find a small boy for a ritual, prompting him to approach his neighbor’ s child.
In his statement, Edafe recounted, ” Destiny lured the eight- year- old child under the pretense of needing help. Once in the uncompleted building, the boy was tragically murdered, his throat was cut, and his blood was drained. ”
Ogbeh’ s Confession
In a video confession shared by Edafe, Destiny Ogbeh revealed how he was compelled by his master to locate a child for his ritual needs. He stated that he deceived Progress by asking for assistance in fetching firewood. Ogbeh described the events leading to the boy’ s abduction: ” I saw him at the A4 Junction and asked him to help me with firewood. We were picked up by a man on a motorcycle and taken to an uncompleted building. ”
He recounted that once they arrived, he was instructed by the native doctor to wait outside while the doctor took the boy inside. Confused and anxious, Ogbeh left the scene upon noticing someone watching him. When he returned, he was horrified to discover that the boy had been killed. Fearful of the repercussions, he initially fled but later turned himself in to the police.
Ongoing Investigations
As investigations continue, Edafe confirmed that efforts are underway to apprehend the native doctor, who is known only as Jonah. The case has garnered significant attention, highlighting the alarming instances of ritualistic killings that occasionally surface in various regions.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the extreme beliefs surrounding ritual practices and the tragic consequences they can have on innocent lives.
