Arrest Made As Tailor Allegedly Shaves Apprentice’s Private Parts Against Their Will In Kadjebi
In a distressing incident in Kadjebi, located in the Oti Region of Ghana, Mr. Yaw Owusu Adisi, a tailor, has been apprehended by the Kadjebi Police for allegedly forcibly shaving the private parts of Mr. Bright Abusah, a 19- year- old electrical apprentice. The incident took place at the accused’ s workshop in Kadjebi Cocoa Market on Sunday, January 21.
According to Mr. Abusah, he was invited to the workshop by the accused at around 8: 00 p. m. Once there, the accused reportedly locked him up and proceeded to ask him about his romantic relationships. Subsequently, Mr. Adisi showed Mr. Abusah pornographic content on his mobile phone.
Allegedly, the accused then demanded that Mr. Abusah remove his trousers and underpants, threatening harm if he refused. Fearful of the consequences, Mr. Abusah complied. Mr. Adisi proceeded to use scissors and a disposable razor blade to forcibly shave Mr. Abusah’ s genitals. Disturbingly, after the act, the accused attempted to arouse Mr. Abusah by applying ointment around his private part, to which Mr. Abusah declined.
Fortunately, an opportunity presented itself for Mr. Abusah to escape when the accused temporarily left the room. Seizing the chance, Mr. Abusah fled to Menuso, a nearby farming community, where he reported the incident to his grandfather, Mr. Simon Tetteh Abusah. Together, they promptly went to the Kadjebi Police station on Monday, January 22, to lodge a formal complaint. As a result, the accused was subsequently apprehended by the authorities.
