ANOTHER SAD TUESDAY As Fatal Auto- crash Leaves Several Passengers Dead Inside Ditch; See The Cause Of This Calamity
On Monday, 22nd January 2024, it was reported that a ghastly car incident which took place on the Kano- Kaduna expressway on Sunday, 21st January 2024 at approximately 11: 20 a. m, resulted in the untimely deaths of no less than 16 individuals while four others suffered injuries of varied degrees, as verified to members of the press by agents of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna Sector Command.

Unfortunately, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kabir Nadabo acknowledged that the auto crash tragically happened at Taban Sani Junction, Tashar Yari, along the Kano- Kaduna road, leading to multiple causalities whereby the number of those who died is far higher than those who were lucky enough to escape death.
Nadabo added that, ” the tragic road traffic crash involved a Toyota Bus, with registered plate number TRB 674ZG, travelling from Kano state to Makurdi, the capital city of Benue state” .
Shedding more light on the incident, the FRSC boss clarified that the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a ditch due to over speeding. It was a single accident.
” The rescue team of RS1. 111. of Tashar Yari responded promptly and conducted the Rescue and investigation the tragedy showed that, out of the twenty individuals involved, four suffered injuries, but regrettably, sixteen died” .
