Governor Dissolves All State Gov’t Commissions, Other Bodies

The Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has ordered the immediate dissolution of all commissions within the state’s public service.

Ikhilor confirmed that the dissolution covers several key bodies, including the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC), the Civil Service Commission, the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission.
Including the Edo State Forestry Commission, the House of Assembly Service Commission, the State Audit Service Commission, and the Judicial Service Commission.
He added that the dissolution takes immediate effect, with the statement directing all chairmen and members of the affected commissions to promptly hand over any government properties in their possession to the most senior public officers.
