Nigerian street- hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reignited his feud with ex- lover Queen Dami through his latest track, ” Bye Bye to Jaga Jaga. ” The controversial singer shared snippets of the new song on his Instagram account on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
The phrase ” Jaga Jaga” translates to ” rubbish, ” with the song serving as a direct dig at Dami, following a series of public disputes. Portable alleged that Queen Dami nearly destroyed his household before their relationship came to an end.
In a public statement before releasing the track, Portable accused Dami of infidelity, claiming he found evidence of inappropriate relationships with prominent fuji musicians on her phone. The singer further alleged that Queen Dami admitted to her involvement, citing dissatisfaction in her previous marriage to the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Speaking on the matter, Portable said:
” I asked her why she had such names on her phone, and she told me her late husband could not satisfy her as much. Later, she claimed to be pregnant for me. I told her that if she wanted me to accept her as a wife, there were conditions she had to meet. ”
Portable went on to say that after taking Queen Dami in, he provided her with a house near his recording studio. However, according to him, the situation quickly deteriorated. He accused her of causing chaos by damaging his bar, driving away his workers, and meeting privately with his wife, Queen Bewaji, which he claimed sparked a major dispute within his home.
The conflict escalated further when Queen Dami decided to part ways with the artist. Taking to her own Instagram account, she publicly announced the end of their relationship. In her post, she said:
