Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, warned Nigerians on Friday that 2025 will not be a happy year and that they should brace themselves for severe economic hardship.
Primate Ayodele said that things will get more difficult and that the government will keep taxing people with higher tariffs for necessities in a statement signed by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.
According to him, if the government doesn’ t act appropriately, the Nigerian system will fall apart, and the wealthy will start to fear moving around because everyone will be enraged and willing to attack everyone, even politicians and governors.
Ayodele said; ” The fact remains that from now till February, things will be harder than before.
” What is the government up to? They won’ t follow basic instructions, and the more the government doesn’ t follow them, the harder things will get.
” Nigeria hasn’ t seen any yet because the administration hasn’ t been able to resolve the economic turmoil. Even though the Dangote refinery is present, fuel costs will continue to rise.
Since action is needed in Nigeria, Primate Ayodele urged Nigerians to refrain from disturbing God with their petitions.
” Even though it’ s better, let’ s wait and see. This is not gloom, but the truth. There will be a food scarcity in 2024, which is the start of 2025, and we don’ t need to bother God with our petitions.
” Nigerians should get ready for more of what they are going through unless the government takes the necessary action, ” he added.
