Another heartbreaking occurrence was reported from Odeomu, Osun State on Wednesday, 17th January 2024 whereby a driver whose identity is yet- to- be ascertained ended the precious life of a teacher who goes by the name, Okunola by crushing him to death following a ghastly auto crash in the region.
The driver in question is said to be driving all the way from Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state to Osogbo, the capital city of Osun state.
Following the information gathered by local news reporters on Thursday, 18th January 2024 it was noted that, the driver took to his heels immediately after the unfortunate occurrence as a group of enraged residents wrecked his vehicle apart and burnt it in broad daylight out of great annoyance. He was lucky to escape the horrible fate that was about to happen to him due to his clever sensing of danger as the mob approached him.
Reacting to the unfortunate occurrence, Kehinde Adeleke, the correspondent for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) of the Osun State Command verified the tragic incident via a press report issued to the press saying the deceased victim actually went to the market to purchase cassava peels when the inevitable took place.
