BADNEWS: Tension Hit AsoRock! ! Nigeria Will Be DESTROY If Tinubu Did Not Stop This Immediately Amidst Petrol Price
The Resource Centre for Human Rights & Civic Education (CHRICED) has raised alarms, cautioning against severe economic repercussions and the looming threat of anarchy in Nigeria if purported plans to increase electricity tariffs and the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N1, 200 are put into effect.
In a statement released on Friday, the Executive Director of CHRICED, Comrade Ibrahim Zikirullahi, emphasized the organization’ s vigilance in monitoring the conflicting statements surrounding the alleged plans, asserting that despite denials by the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), there appears to be a hidden agenda.
Zikirullahi contended that the persistent debates over fuel price hikes and other essential services suggest the government might be testing the resilience of Nigerians and exploring the limits of public tolerance. He referenced the Chief Economist of the World Bank, who previously indicated that the current PMS price does not accurately reflect its true cost.
Expressing concern over the government’ s revenue- generating policies, such as the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL), Zikirullahi criticized President Tinubu’ s administration for what he perceives as insensitivity and a lack of innovative economic strategies.
