A viral video of an unidentified Ugandan pastor carrying out a deliverance ritual on a female church member has caused a stir both locally and internationally. The video shows the pastor allegedly exorcising the member from evil spirits and demons.
According to reports, the church member had allegedly been tormented by unspecified spirits for several years. In an attempt to free her from these spiritual forces, the pastor initiated a controversial deliverance method that has gotten a lot of heat online and disbelief which many calling out the pastor for his unnatural method.
In the video, the pastor is seen calling the church member to the pulpit, he then kneels and proceeds to place his hands into her pants, supposedly to pray for her. The pastor pulled out something strange from the pants of the church member, asked her a few questions about how she felt and put his hands back into her pants again, claiming there was more work to be done there.
The incident has also prompted discussions about the power structures within some religious institutions and the influence that some pastors hold over their congregants. Many have expressed concerns about the potential for exploitation and the need for greater oversight and accountability for some religious leaders and their unnatural behavior.
