BREAKING: U. S Freedom Fighter Shocks Tinubu, Vows To Do This After Simon Ekpa’s Arrest
Following the arrest of Simon Ekpa, the self- proclaimed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, international lobbyist Elias Gerasoulis has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to advocating for the cause of Biafra.
Gerasoulis, who represents Moran Global Strategies, made his stance clear in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), emphasising his dedication to the Biafran people and their struggle for recognition.
In his statement, Gerasoulis stressed the importance of loyalty, describing Simon Ekpa as not only a client but also a personal friend. He wrote, ” My Biafran friends should know that I am committed to continuing to lobby for the Biafran government during this difficult time. The Biafran people should know I will never leave them. You stand by your friends when they are facing challenges, and H. E. Simon Ekpa is not only a client but a close friend. ”
This declaration comes amid heightened tensions following Ekpa’ s arrest, which has sparked discussions about the future of the Biafran movement. Ekpa, a controversial figure, has been a vocal advocate for the secession of Biafra from Nigeria, a stance that has drawn both support and criticism.
Gerasoulis also directly addressed speculation regarding his continued representation of the Biafran government, particularly in the wake of Ekpa’ s legal troubles. ” I am also sending this as a signal to the Nigerian agents, some of whom have put out celebratory predictions that I will drop the Biafran government soon as a client in light of the recent circumstances. That will never happen— only in their fantasies. We will achieve the international recognition Biafra deserves, regardless of their efforts to stop us, ” he wrote.
The arrest of Simon Ekpa has reignited discussions about the Biafran cause, which has its roots in the Nigerian Civil War of 1967– 1970. The movement, which advocates for the secession of the southeastern region of Nigeria, remains a polarising topic within the country and beyond. Ekpa’ s arrest has drawn mixed reactions, with supporters viewing him as a hero of the Biafran cause, while critics have labelled his methods as controversial.
