SHOPPING Turns BLOODY As Daredevil Gunmen Invade Supermarket, Slaughter Several Customers In Cold Blood
There has been tension and commotion among the residents of One Man Village close to the Mararaba community in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State after some unknown gunmen invaded a supermarket in the neighborhood and opened fire thereby taking the lives of four residents.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigative Department has received an order from Nadada Umar, the Nasarawa Commissioner of Police to launch an investigation into the matter.
It was gathered that On Tuesday, 2nd of January 2024 at about 8: 45 pm, four unknown gunmen invaded the supermarket and murdered four customers.
A voice could be heard in a viral video posted online that one of the dead victims had a Central Bank of Nigeria identity card in his possession. He is suspected to be a staff of CBN before his untimely death.
While reacting to the incident, Nansel Ramhan who happens to be the Public Relations Officer of the Nasarawa State Police Command verified the occurrence of the incident.
He added that the tragic incident claimed the lives of four customers. The CP issued a directive to the Deputy Commissioner in charge of SCID to begin an investigation into the matter.
In his words, he said, ” I received a report on the 2nd of January 2024 that four heavily armed men invaded Wisdom supermarket and started to shoot sporadically at customers. The bullets met four of the customers shopping at the scene at the time of the incident. The victims were quickly rushed to the hospital where the doctor on duty pronounced them dead.
