In a somber turn of events, Mr. Emmanuel Ijewere, a distinguished figure within the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council, has passed away. This loss is deeply felt, especially given Mr. Ijewere’ s prominent standing as one of Nigeria’ s foremost businessmen, boasting extensive expertise and investments in the realms of banking, finance, and agriculture.
Notably, Mr. Ijewere held the pivotal role of Chairman in the Big Tent Obi- Datti Independent Campaign Council, where his leadership was characterized by exceptional dedication, unyielding patience, and sagacious guidance, leaving an indelible mark on the organization.
The announcement of his demise was made by Morris Monye, a significant member of the LP, who expressed the collective sorrow, stating, ” It is with great sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Mr. Emmanuel Ijewere, Chairman of the esteemed Big Tent Obi- Datti Independent Campaign Council. ”
