TENSION At Akeredolu’s Residence As The Late Governor’s Daughter Drags Journalists Out; SEE Why She Did That
Ololade, the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’ s daughter, staged a scene by ordering journalists to leave his father’ s private property in Ibadan.
The journalists were to the late governor’ s residence to cover the condolence visits of the NGF’ s chairman and vice chairman, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and Seyi Makinde.
However, Akeredolu’ s daughter stated that the residence in Ibadan was a private household, not a government building where journalists might lay siege.
Ololade Akeredolu, the daughter of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, has dispatched journalists to cover dignitaries’ condolence visits to the former governor of Ondo state’ s private residence in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
According to Vanguard, the former governor’ s daughter contended that the Ibadan property is a private dwelling for the family, not a government building.
Why Did Akeredolu’ s Daughter Kick Media Out Of Her Father’ s House?
The presence of the journalists was due to the late governor’ s private mansion being visited by the chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq of Kwara, and his deputy, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state.
However, Ololade was irritated by the journalists’ presence and demanded them to leave his father’ s private apartment, saying that it was not the government mansion.
