After making an attempt to kidnap children, a group of irate residents in Lagos State attacked and abducted a young woman, resulting in her death by beating.
Despite the fact that the woman had been deemed to be mentally unstable in the past, the mob had prevented her from being taken to the police station.
It has been reported that the woman was attacked by the angry mob with stones and anything else that they could get their hands on. Following the attack, the woman was later tied with ropes and burned on a bridge.
” The woman had always been disguising herself to be mentally unstable, begging for things from people, and according to those who saw her, it was not the first time she had done so, ” the source who had narrated the incident had said.
Since the beginning of the previous week, there have been reports of more than two children who have gone missing in the region, and yet they have not been located. Some of the women in the area, including those who were young and elderly, were upset and joined in the mobbing of the woman. The manner in which these kidnappers had been coming to our region has caused everyone to feel a great deal of anger.
