Margaret Mosunmola College of Health Sciences and Technology has announced the observance of Monday, 2nd February and Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026 as public holidays in compliance with the directive of the Ondo State Government.

The declaration follows the approval granted by the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who declared the two days as public holidays across the state to enable residents fully participate in activities marking the 50th Anniversary of the creation of Ondo State.

The Golden Jubilee celebration commemorates five decades of Ondo State’s growth, resilience, and collective progress since its creation. The Governor encouraged citizens to take advantage of the holidays to join the celebrations, reflect on the journey of the state so far, and renew their commitment to building a more prosperous and united Ondo State.

In line with this announcement, management of Margaret Mosunmola College of Health Sciences and Technology hereby informs students, academic staff, and non-teaching staff that all academic and administrative activities will be suspended during the public holidays and will resume afterward as scheduled.

However, essential service units within the institution are advised to make adequate arrangements to ensure uninterrupted services during the period.

The college community is encouraged to use the opportunity to participate actively and responsibly in the anniversary celebrations.
