Few Days To Celebrate CHRISTMAS, Woman’s Body Covered With Injuries Found Inside Hotel After Lodging With Male Friend
Another tragic incident was reported from Abia state, whereby a young man, 29 years of age who goes by the name, Timothy Ekem murdered a woman suspected to be his female friend, Fortune Ohiero. In response to this heinous act, the police operatives have apprehended and taken the suspect, Ekem into police custody for ending the life of the deceased woman, Ohiero, 30 years of age who stayed in a hotel with him in Aba.
Following the information obtained by local news reporters on Friday, 22nd December 2023, the Superintendent of Police, SP Maureen Chinaka who is also the public relations officer (PPRO) of the state police command issued a press report verifying the incident as well as the detention of the offender.
The police correspondent recalled that, on 4th December 2023, a distress call was received from the hotel employees about a murder case, after which the security operatives swiftly rushed down to the location to investigate and determine all circumstances surrounding the case.
Speaking further, SP Maureen Chinaka went on to say that, the corpse of the deceased was found lying motionless on the bed with varied injuries all over her body and her personal belongings were discovered in a hotel room.
