EFCC Finds Gbajabiamila’s SEX TAPE? Tension In Aso Rock As Journalist Shocks Tinubu With Explosive Allegations
Jackson Ude, a former aide to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan and a prominent independent journalist, has made explosive allegations regarding the controversial appointment of the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The claims, made through Ude’ s verified account on X (formerly Twitter) and, cited by the LATEST_NEWS Blog, suggest a web of bribery and alleged misconduct involving top government officials and appointees under President Bola Tinubu’ s administration.
Ude’ s latest revelation includes an alleged sex tape tied to the ongoing investigation into a $1 million bribery scandal involving the NIMASA DG position. He stated, ” A sex video involving one of the suspects in the $1 million bribe for NIMASA DG position popped out during investigations by a team from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). ” While details remain sparse, Ude hinted at broader implications, urging the public to stay tuned for further updates.
This is not the first time Ude has exposed alleged misconduct related to the NIMASA DG appointment. Earlier, he accused Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, of collecting a $1 million bribe in August 2023 from Victor Ochei, a former Executive Director of Operations at NIMASA.
The fallout from the alleged bribery scandal has been significant. According to Ude, an angry Victor Ochei, who failed to secure the NIMASA DG role, filed a petition with the EFCC, accusing Oni- Okpaku of misappropriating funds meant for lobbying influential figures. The petition prompted the EFCC to detain Oni- Okpaku, who, in an audio recording cited by Ude, denied involvement in handling bribes.
” I introduced him [Ochei] to people and put in words for him, but I don’ t know anything about any money, ” Oni- Okpaku reportedly said. She further disclosed that Ochei had initially budgeted $1 million for lobbying efforts, a figure she advised him to increase, given that other contenders were allegedly spending between $2 million and $3 million.
During her detention, the EFCC reportedly confiscated $30, 000 found in her possession, claiming it was part of Ochei’ s funds. Oni- Okpaku maintains her innocence, stating the money was unrelated to the allegations.
