A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye, recently revealed how he humorously handled a financial request from a supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Taking to his verified account on X (formerly Twitter) as cited by the LATEST_NEWS Blog, Melaye shared the encounter, which he claimed highlighted the nation’ s economic struggles. According to Melaye, the alleged Tinubu supporter approached him for financial assistance, citing the severe hardship sweeping across the country.
In response, Melaye humorously handed the individual a cheque inscribed with the phrase ” Renewed Hope” , a term associated with President Tinubu’ s campaign slogan.
