AFTER Trump Declared Victory, SEE Message Ukrainian President Zelensky Sent To Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has congratulated Donald Trump on winning the 2024 United States presidential election, according to a post made on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
In his message, titled ” Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on his impressive election victory! ” , Zelenskyy expressed his enthusiasm for working closely with the incoming U. S. administration to strengthen ties between their countries and push for peace in Eastern Europe.
Reflecting on past diplomatic efforts, Zelenskyy recalled a significant meeting he had with Trump in September, where the two leaders discussed the critical Ukraine- U. S. partnership. Zelenskyy emphasized their shared goal of ending Russian aggression and securing peace through strength.
” I recall our great meeting with President Trump back in September, when we discussed in detail the Ukraine- U. S. strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and ways to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine, ” he said.
Zelenskyy further praised Trump’ s ” peace through strength” approach to global politics, calling it a path that could bring ” just peace in Ukraine” closer. He expressed hope for practical cooperation with Trump, seeing his leadership style as a key factor in achieving Ukraine’ s long- term security and regional stability.
In his post, Zelenskyy conveyed optimism about the future of U. S. – Ukraine relations under Trump’ s administration. He voiced a commitment to fostering a ” strong United States of America under President Trump’ s decisive leadership, ” with an emphasis on the importance of bipartisan support from the U. S. for Ukraine. ” We rely on continued strong bipartisan support for Ukraine in the United States, ” he added.
Zelenskyy also highlighted Ukraine’ s position as one of Europe’ s most capable military powers, signaling a readiness to collaborate closely with the United States and NATO allies to ensure peace and security in the Transatlantic region. He stated, ” Ukraine, as one of Europe’ s strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long- term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies. ”
In concluding his message, Zelenskyy expressed eagerness to meet Trump in person soon to congratulate him and to discuss ways to enhance the Ukraine- U. S. strategic partnership further. ” I am looking forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine’ s strategic partnership with the United States, ” he said.
