SHOCKING ! Man On “Hard Drugs” Stabs Police Inspector, Hijacks Gun & Shoots Innocent Civilians; See His Unfortunate END
A man simply identified by the name Nuhu met his gruesome end in the hands of a police officer after getting shot and killed over the weekend, precisely on Saturday, 16th December 2023 after going on a shooting rampage in the Ada George neighbourhood of Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State. Right before his death, the deceased man is said to have attacked and stabbed a police inspector several times before stealing his AK- 47 gun.
Credible findings by local journalists revealed that, the deceased who is known for his job as a scavenger in the neighbourhood also went ahead to attack another police officer who attempted to foil his escape plan when he tried to evade the scene.
Newsmen learnt that the hoodlum was given a hot chase by some residents and colleagues of the police inspector whose gun was dispossessed from him. But, quite unfortunately, the man initially went out of sight and was nowhere to be found for some moments until he got to a place known as ” Boro Pit” , where he started firing the stolen gun into the air in an attempt to scare off those who were chasing him as well as people who were obstructing his way. Sadly, Nuhu killed a civilian while shooting randomly before police officers could get to the scene.
Additionally, it was discovered that the man started behaving like a aggressive animal upon seeing the police officers coming towards him and started a gunfight with them but before he could pull another trigger, he was gunned down on the spot by the security men.
An eyewitness who doesn’ t want his name revealed to the press recalled that, ” this man (Nuhu) was believed to be on drugs. Even when the policemen saw him, he tried to shoot them and they repelled and shot him dead” .
Meanwhile, the Superintendent of Police, SP Grace Iringe- Koko, a correspondent for the state Police Command, regrettably verified the shocking but tragic event saying that the civilian and police officer shot by the miscreant (Nuhu) eventually gave up the ghost.
The PPRO, Iringe- Koko explained that, ” the Rivers State Police Command on November 16, 2023, at about 1500 hrs received a message from DPO Rumukpakani Division that one hoodlum (male) identity yet unknown, ran towards Inspector Ade Rotimi attached to the APC pin- down point by Ada George Road with three others, suddenly stabbed him multiple times on his head, and collected his rifle” .
” He also injured one Inspector Bala Yusuf on his hand and ran towards the Boro Pit Area. He started firing indiscriminately and shot two unidentified civilians before operatives swooped on him and prevented him from creating more havoc by killing him on the spot” , she concluded.
