This generous donation was declared following the forum’ s inaugural meeting convened in Kaduna on Friday.
Expressing heartfelt condolences to the people of Kaduna, the forum unequivocally condemned the tragic incident that resulted in the loss of over 100 lives and numerous injuries. Recognizing the profound suffering caused, the NGF has undertaken to provide both immediate financial assistance and enduring support for the victims.
Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, the Chairman of the forum and the Governor of Gombe State, made the announcement, stating, ” The forum has collectively resolved to support the Kaduna State Government and victims of the unfortunate incident of bombing at Tudun Biri Community of Igabi LGA by donating the sum of N180, 000, 000. 00 only to the victims. ”
