According to the Ijaw National Congress (INC), President Bola Tinubu is keeping silent about the political turmoil caused by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike because he supports him.
Prof. Benjamin Okaba, President of the INC, stated that any attack on Governor Siminalayi Fubara is a slap on the Ijaw country. Okaba stated that the Ijaw people are furious and will not tolerate any attempt to remove Fubara from office.

Former Niger Delta insurgent commander Asari Dokubo drew Tinubu into Rivers state’ s political conflict. Dokubo revealed in a popular video that the Ijaw people are upset with President Tinubu’ s s- led federal government over the ongoing battle between Wike and his successor, Fubara.
In the viral video clip, Dokubo argued that the Rivers issue has demonstrated that Tinubu’ s administration is a nightmare for the Ijaw people.
