REAL Life HORROR! Man Sets His Own Mother On Fire, Watches Her Burn To Ashes; See His Unfortunate End
A man simply identified by the name, Stephen Jiya who was charged before a High Court in Niger state, situated in Minna (the capital city) has been condemned to die by hanging by the presiding magistrate over the heinous act he committed against his biological mother by setting her on fire and watching her burn to death.
Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, the Chief Judge of Niger State, in his ruling, passed down the decision on the accused, Stephen Jiya who was found guilty of culpable homicide. He was convicted of killing his own mother by setting her on fire which led to the tragic death of the victim.
Reacting to the case tabled before the court, Judge Halima condemned the defendant to death by hanging in accordance with Section 221 of the Criminal Code.
The convict, Stephen Jiya was described to be a ” heartless, evil minded and wicked” person for subjecting his own mother, Mrs. Comfort Jiya, a former director of the Niger State Ministry of Education to such a horrific torture by burning her alive some years back, precisely on December, 2021 after which he was charged by the office of the Attorney General of the State Ministry of Justice.
Flashing back on the incident, on 14th September, 2022, he was presented before Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik for possible prosecution after initially denying the allegation while in police custody, and on 23rd November, 2022, the hearings on the case began.
