IPOB Release List Of Top Politician Reportedly Working Against Nnamdi Kanu’s Freedom, Names They Mentioned Might Surprise You
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused prominent figures in the southern region, including politicians, businessmen, and traditional rulers, of conspiring against the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. In a statement, IPOB’ s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, revealed a list compiled by their intelligence team, holding these individuals accountable if Kanu remains in custody post the anticipated December 15 Supreme Court ruling.
The accused individuals comprise the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, billionaire businessman Sir Emeka Offor, Governors Francis Nwifuru, Peter Mbah, Hope Uzodimma of Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo states respectively.
names on the list include former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, oil magnate Arthur Eze, and traditional ruler HRH Cletus Ilomuanya. IPOB’ s statement alleges that some wealthy and political figures within their community are responsible for orchestrating Kanu’ s prolonged detention.
The group urges Biafrans and IPOB members worldwide to hold these individuals accountable if anything adverse happens to Kanu and stresses that they should be blamed if he is not released following the Supreme Court’ s decision on December 15, 2023.
Emma Powerful also appeals to President Bola Tinubu and the Supreme Court not to yield to the pressure exerted by the accused parties to keep Kanu incarcerated. He points out that some of these individuals were involved in the abduction and illegal transfer of Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria.
