Pastor Slumps, Dies While Preaching In Church; See Details
A pastor has lost his life while delivering a sermon at a church in Borno. The clergyman reportedly slumped while delivering a powerful message to his church members. The worshippers who witnessed the incident said the pastor died shortly after he stepped on the altar, he grabbed the attention of the worshippers with his sermon when the unexpected happened, the topic he was talking about and every other report surrounding the tragic incident will be discussed here.
Reverend Alaku Vincent, the leading pastor of the Church of the Brethren (EYN) at Moduganari in Maiduguri, Borno State, has been announced dead. The pastor suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness during a child dedication ceremony at the church on Sunday. When he collapsed, the church members made efforts to revive him but all efforts ended in futility as he was pronounced dead thereafter.

A church member, Prince Malikson Papaman, who briefly narrated how the pastor died on Facebook, explained that the deceased stood up and went to the altar to deliver a sermon. He was standing passionately as he was on the altar preaching about the importance of family unity in worship. The source said the message was already entering his spirit when the unexpected happened, the pastor did not know that that would be his last sermon. The source also said the message he delivered that day still resonates in his mind.

The District Church Secretary of Church Brethren of Nigeria, Timothy Hammajam, who also reacted to the demise of the pastor on Facebook, described the deceased as a visionary leader with focus, adding that some group of students would miss his elderly and prophetic words. He also prayed that God should comfort his church members and his family.
