Muslims SLAUGHTERED, Mosque DESTROYED? Tinubu Receives Terrible Reports As NAF Is Accused Of BOMBING Civilians
Residents of Jika da Kolo community in Yadin Kidandan, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, have called on President Tinubu to investigate the alleged killing of innocent civilians by Nigerian Air Force.
According to the report, the villagers accused the NAF of mistakenly bombing their village, leading to the deaths of over 25 people.
The incident, which reportedly took place over the weekend, has stirred outrage among villagers who claim the NAF jet, intended to strike terrorists, instead hit a mosque and a nearby market.
Abdullahi Ismail, the local councillor representing the area, confirmed the incident and described the heavy toll on the community.
Another resident who spoke to the newsmen said: ” Twenty- three mutilated bodies were gathered from the scene and had been buried according to Islamic rites.
” We gathered body parts of 23 people who were identified by relatives, including children, and they have been buried, ” he stated.
The resident explained that the strike occurred around 2 p. m. , during a time when the mosque and market were filled with worshippers and traders.
He added, ” It was a crowded place because there was a local market close to the mosque, which was also affected. ”
The destruction reportedly led to widespread panic among the villagers, who are already grappling with the constant threat of terrorism in the region.
A resident of a nearby village, recounting the event, described the incident as unfortunate, stressing that many innocent people were sent to their early graves.
” Yes, it is true that there was a strike by a plane on Friday at a mosque in Jika da Kolo village that claimed many lives, including a few from our village who went to their farms or to do business at the local market close to the mosque, ” he said.
” We heard when the plane arrived; it dropped something, and a moment later, we heard a loud sound because I was in a nearby village, ” the resident said.
In response to the accusations, the Nigerian Air Force has firmly denied the claims. Group Captain Kabiru Ali, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information for NAF, said that the airstrike targeted a logistics base used by terrorists in the Yadi Forest.
According to him, the operation was conducted based on ” credible intelligence indicating a huge presence of terrorists and their weapons cache. ”
Ali also disputed the villagers’ reports, asserting that there was no mosque in the targeted area.
” There was no mosque in the area, based on pictorial evidence of how the location was before and after the operation, ” he said.
