Ekpa’ s statement read: ” Nigeria October 1st celebration is banned in Biafra territory. Over 50 million Biafrans who voted in the self- referendum will mind their businesses. Every Nigeria institution in Biafraland will be shut down tomorrow, 1. 10. 2024. Biafrans can go about their businesses. ”
He also warned residents of the South- East, emphasizing that government facilities must not operate on Nigeria’ s Independence Day. Ekpa reiterated that no Nigerian institutions or operations would be allowed during this period.
