Residents of a community were shocked after what they saw in the room of an Islamic cleric in Oyo State. The video of the discovery was seen in a viral video shared on the internet. The video captured the moment some people found dead bodies and human parts in the room of the cleric. Meanwhile, earlier before the shocking discovery, it was made known that a young girl was recently used for ritual. An Islamic cleric has been caught after he allegedly killed people in the Ojuoja area, Fanawole, Apete community in Ibadan, Oyo State. The residents of the area entered the house of the cleric and found human dead bodies. Two corpses were reportedly found while different body parts were found during the time of the invasion. One of the deceased was young while the other was an old man.
The graphic video of the incident was shared across social media platforms, including WhatsApp and X. The video captured the moment some people entered the room of the cleric and started searching for it, they felt pity when they discovered the corpses. One of those who entered the cleric’ s room was seen covering the bodies of the victims with clothes.
It was gathered that the two dead bodies found at the cleric’ s house at the moment of the discovery were those of the cleric’ s uncle and his grandfather. One of them was sick and the other was blind before they were killed. It was gathered that the cleric was killing his victim for ritual and was also into the selling of body parts.
This incident is a trigger message to every Nigerian, we need to be very careful and vigilant at the same time. The residents would not have noticed anything if they were not vigilant. The name of the Islamic cleric was not disclosed and it is unknown whether he has been handed over to the police as they are yet to release an official statement on the matter.
