Adanma Cries Profusely As She Begs Nigerians For Forgiveness Over Jnr Pope’s Death (Video)
Nollywood actress and movie producer, Adanma Luke has made a heartfelt appeal for forgiveness from Nigerians over the tragic boat accident that resulted in the loss of five lives, including actor John Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope.
In an emotional video shared on her Instagram page, Luke expressed her deep sorrow and regret over the incident, while working on her movie titled “The Other Side of Life,” in April.
Adanma, who has been struggling with depression and unable to work since the incident, acknowledged the criticism she has faced online and pleaded for understanding and forgiveness. She explained that she had requested a better location to shoot the movie and was assured by her team that the area was safe, but she was not provided with life jackets for the crew.
The actress also shared her struggles with depression and her inability to reach out to people for jobs since the incident. She emphasized that she is not God and did not intentionally cause the accident, but is still grappling with the consequences.
Adanma Luke’s appeal for forgiveness comes after the movie production ban placed on her by the Actors Guild of Nigeria was lifted.
Sharing the video, she wrote:
“I’m sorry this had to happen to me. I’m not God but please you all should put yourself in my shoes. It’s not easy on me and believe me i still need your prayers🙏🏾.”
