TENSION In IGBOLAND As Governor DEMANDS Immediate Recapture Of Simon Ekpa From Finland, Reasons Will SHOCK You
Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has vehemently criticized Simon Ekpa, the Finland-based leader of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, labeling him a murderer, scammer, and common criminal. “Mbah accused Ekpa of exploiting the emotions and suffering of the Igbo people and urged the South East region to disregard his threats and sit-at-home orders.
Mbah expressed his dissatisfaction with the Finnish government’ s continued harboring of Ekpa, attributing numerous lost lives and destroyed property to Ekpa’s followers. The governor made these remarks over the weekend while hosting members of the House of Representatives Committee on National Security and Intelligence, who were visiting the state for oversight purposes. During the visit, the committee also inspected the construction of the Department of State Services (DSS) Training Institute in Awgu. Governor Mbah emphasized the critical importance of security, underscoring his administration’ s commitment to ending the illegal sit-at-home orders previously enforced by non-state actors.
“As you may have noticed recently, they have continued to make attempts, particularly that megalomaniac, who ironically resides peacefully with his family in Finland- a country where the rule of law reigns. Yet, he encourages anarchy here and goads some of our youths to their self-destruction, “Mbah stated. “He pretends to fight for Igbo interests, but he neither knows nor cares about them. He creates a siege atmosphere to extort and exploit our people. He is a common criminal.
Mbah described Ekpa as a murder intent on inflicting terrorism on the people. “How can you claim to love our people, known for their hard work, and dictate to us when to work and when not to? He is just a common criminal who thrives on chaos.” The governor reassured the people of Enugu State of their continued protection, emphasizing that the state would not be intimidated by criminals. “We have demonstrated our capacity to provide security and will continue to do so with the help of our security agencies. We cannot be intimidated or submit to this siege atmosphere. We value hard work and will not allow anyone to undermine our existence for cheap publicity.”
Mbah urged the House of Representatives to take up the challenge of ensuring Ekpa’ s repatriation to Nigeria to face charges of murder and terrorism in the South East region. “It is surprising that the Finnish government allows this man to reside peacefully while perpetrating terrorism in Nigeria. This is something your committee should address to bring him to justice.”
Mbah stressed the tragedy of Ekpa’s actions, which have led to numerous. deaths, and called for a united effort to end his influence.” He does not represent Igbo interests, “Mbah asserted.
The governor assured the House Committee of his administration’ s readiness to assist in the early completion of the DSS Training Institute, highlighting the crucial role of security in governance. Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the
House Committee on National
Security and Intelligence, Hon. Ahmed
Satomi, praised Governor Mbah as a
model for other states in security and good governance. He called for the governor’s support in completing the DSS Institute to realize his vision for the state’s security infrastructure. Watch Video
