The 20- year-old student, who attends Capital Government Day Secondary School, was arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court 2 in Yola on a charge of rape. Inspector Galeon Nimrod, the prosecuting officer, revealed that one Habu Jibrilla reported the incident at Karewa Police Station, stating that he caught Emeka in the act around 6: 40 am and handed him over to the authorities.
The court heard that Jibrilla, a resident of the State Low-Cost Housing Estate in Jimeta, found Emeka engaging in sexual activity with the mentally challenged woman by the street side.
