TRUTH Is Out: See Identity Of People Allegedly Behind BOMBING Of Dangote Refinery, See Shocking Details
The Arewa Think Tank (ATTK), a northern group, has accused those opposed to Aliko Dangote’ s success of being responsible for the recent fire incident at the Dangote Refinery in Lagos.
The group also suggested that the fire was an attempt to undermine President Bola Tinubu’ s efforts to improve Nigeria’ s socioeconomic conditions. Muhammad Alhaji Yakubu, the Chief Convener of ATTK, issued a statement on Wednesday describing these saboteurs as ” enemies of Nigeria. ” He expressed confidence that Nigeria would overcome these challenges and continue on its path to success.
Yakubu’ s statement came shortly after Aliko Dangote revealed that International Oil Companies (IOCs) were attempting to frustrate his efforts. The fire at the refinery, which is still under construction, occurred at the effluent treatment plant. Fortunately, it was quickly contained, and there were no injuries. Yakubu urged Dangote to remain undeterred by these setbacks, emphasizing that the road to success is often fraught with obstacles.
He expressed optimism that the refinery, once operational, would help alleviate Nigeria’ s fuel crisis. The Dangote Refinery is poised to become the world’ s largest single- train refinery, situated on a 6, 180- acre site at the Lekki Free Trade Zone in Lagos. Supplied by the world’ s largest sub- sea pipeline infrastructure, the refinery is expected to create 135, 000 permanent jobs in the region.
In April, President Tinubu praised the Dangote Refinery for reducing the price of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), also known as diesel, from ₦1, 200 to ₦1, 000 per liter. This price reduction was anticipated to positively impact the economy and reduce the country’ s high inflation rate. Tinubu also highlighted the significance of the federal government’ s 20 percent stake in the refinery, underscoring the importance of public- private partnerships for Nigeria’ s economic progress. Yakubu echoed this sentiment, condemning the recent fire as a deliberate act of sabotage against a critical national asset.
Yakubu called for national support for Dangote’ s initiatives, urging Nigerians to appreciate Dangote’ s decision to establish the refinery domestically rather than in neighboring countries. He stressed the need for unity and vigilance against those seeking to derail Nigeria’ s progress. As the nation moves forward, the Arewa Think Tank remains committed to defending initiatives that promote economic development and national unity. They believe that, despite attempts to sabotage the refinery, Nigeria will emerge stronger and more resilient.
