BOMBSHELL!!! Primate Ayodele Attack Governors For Rejecting N60, 000 Minimum Wage, See What He Said That Shock Everyone [Details Below]
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has sharply criticized state governors for rejecting the proposed N60, 000 minimum wage and instead offering N57, 000. In a statement released on Sunday by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, Primate Ayodele described the governors actions as heartless and inhumane, asserting that the proposed wage is insufficient to address the economic hardships faced by workers.
Primate Ayodele argued that the inadequate wages contribute significantly to the ongoing insecurity in various states across Nigeria. He called for a reassessment of the minimum wage, urging governors to prioritize the welfare of workers rather than impeding efforts to improve their living conditions.
“Our governors are heartless,” Ayodele stated. “Paying N57, 000 as a minimum wage in this present time is like punishing workers because there
is serious hardship in this country. The proposed amount cannot work because they themselves wouldn’ t accept such a ridiculous amount.” He further criticized the disparity in the allocation of funds, highlighting that governors and politicians receive substantial payments and security votes while neglecting the needs of workers. They collect security votes and allocate different payments to themselves, but paying a meager amount as minimum wage has become a problem for them,” he said.
Ayodele linked the insufficient wages to the persistence of insecurity, noting, “This is one of the reasons insecurity persists in our states because when a security man is paid below expectations, he will collect money from bandits to operate.”
He emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of workers’ salaries, stressing that the current wages are inadequate in the face of rising living costs. The salaries of workers need to be reviewed because governors and politicians get paid handsomely. The people in government know the pain of the people, but it’s sad that they are frustrating efforts to make it better,” Ayodele remarked.
Primate Ayodele also condemned the labor unions for their approach to protesting the minimum wage issue, specifically criticizing the shutdown of the national grid. He described this action as dangerous and potentially harmful to innocent Nigerians. “Shutting down the national grid is condemned; it’s something that can cost the lives of innocent Nigerians. The unions should know how to express their grievances without affecting other Nigerians. Shutting down the national grid only affected innocent Nigerians, “he cautioned.
In conclusion, Primate Ayodele called for a more thoughtful and constructive approach to addressing the minimum wage issue, urging both the governors and labor unions to act in ways that
prioritize the welfare and safety of all Nigerians. Watch Video Follow Up In Getting More Updates!
