RELIGION Or WHAT? See How Pastor Was Beaten To Death By His Own Snake During Miracle Service [VIDEO]
The controversial South African prophet known for making his followers eat snakes, claiming he had turned them into chocolate just as Jesus turned water into wine, has reportedly died after being bitten by a cobra during one of his miracle sessions.
The prophet rose to international notoriety for his extreme and bizarre practices. Within a few weeks, he gained attention by riding his congregants like donkeys, making them strip naked, and eat unconventional items like braids, paper, rocks, and dirt.
His most shocking act involved bringing live snakes into his services, declaring that believers could eat the venomous creatures, which would taste like chocolate through divine intervention.
Many followers who consumed the snakes reported that they indeed tasted like chocolate, earning the prophet the nickname Snake Pastor” in South Africa. Despite his popularity, his actions quickly attracted legal trouble. The South African Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) charged him with animal cruelty, arguing that his methods of killing and using live animals were both cruel and illegal under South African law.
The regulatory body overseeing churches in South Africa swiftly deregistered his church for malpractice and summoned him for a disciplinary hearing. The prophet’s refusal to comply led to discussions about obtaining a court order to mandate his attendance.
Tensions escalated when political activists from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) stormed his church, destroying his tent and other property. This incident, however, spurred a backlash in support of the prophet, citing the constitutional protection of religious freedom in South Africa. The EFF later claimed that rogue Individuals unaffiliated with the party were responsible for the damage. The latest shocking development
came when the South African tabloid iMzansi reported the death of the Snake Pastor. According to Soshanguve Police, Penuel Mnguni, 24, was bitten by a cobra during a service.
Despite the bite, he refused medical treatment and later went to his brother’s home, where he died. The local coroner confirmed his death, and church members declined to comment, but reports suggest there will be no funeral as they believe he will resurrect.
Adding to the church’s controversial reputation, a recent incident involved a lady bishop grabbing the pastor’ s reproductive organs during a live service, further tarnishing the church’ s image.
