Dr. Okhue Iboi, the Secretary General of Nigeria’ s Witches and Wizards, passed away at the age of 65 in Otuo, Edo State.
Originally hailing from Okpe in Akoko Edo Local Government Area, he resided in Lagos, utilizing his herbal expertise to treat patients. He fell ill recently and was transported to his hometown for medical care, where he sadly succumbed to his condition.

Born to Jonah Iboi, a respected community leader, Dr. Iboi’ s family migrated from Otuo to Okpe due to Infertility issues.
According to Ifa divination, relocating was necessary for their fertility, which proved true as Dr. Iboi was born shortly after their move.
Dr. Iboi’ s birth was shrouded in mysticism, with him reportedly holding fresh leaves at birth and disappearing for six months at age two.
Believed to be under spiritual guardianship, he reappeared at age three, marking the beginning of his extraordinary life journey.
He had said; ” When I was born, I came from my mother’s womb with some mystic objects in my hands. I had fresh leaves in my hands, which was a prelude to what I am renowned for today as an herbalist.
“Mysteriously at age two, I disappeared from my mother’s bed while we both slept at night and, for six months, there was no trace of me.
“My parents were scared, they sought spiritual intervention and the oracle confirmed that I was well and safe in the hands of my spiritual guardians, where I was understood to be undergoing spiritual purification and preparation for my earthly mission.
“The oracle directed my parents to always place my food daily at the place I was always eating in the house. “They complied and the meals would disappear without them knowing who ate it. By the end of the sixth month, I was suddenly found lying beside my mother on the day I exactly clocked three years.”
Despite his mystical beginnings, Dr. Iboi led a prosperous life, fathering three daughters and a son, all of whom attained university education. His passing marks the end of a remarkable chapter in Nigerian mysticism and traditional medicine, leaving behind a legacy of healing and spiritual insight.
