Popular Footballer Shot Dead While Buying Petrol At Filling Station; See Who Killed Him
A popular footballer has been pronounced dead after he was attacked and shot dead by wicked people. The deceased who based in South Africa was said to have parked at a petrol station in order to refuel his car when the unexpected happened to him. He was killed in front of many people who were also at the filling station. His death has started generating reactions from his country and the club he played for. The popular footballer, Luke Fleurs, has tragically passed away. The deceased was a player playing for the Kaizer Chiefs team, a popular club in Johannesburg, he was playing as the defender. Fleurs who was 24 years of age was at a petrol station in a northwestern suburb of Johannesburg, he was on the queue waiting for his turn when two armed men driving a white BMW alighted and pointed a gun at him, forced the footballer to come down from his car and shot him once on his upper body. One of the gunmen immediately entered the footballer’ s car while the ather entered their BMW car and drove off.
It was an incident that generated tension in the vicinity. It is quite unfortunate that onlookers could not do anything to save the situation. The footballer was rushed to a hospital but was sadly declared dead on arrival. His killers were said to be armed robbers.
