AKOKO NORTH BY-ELECTION – ISOWOPO YOUTHS VISIT SIX MONARHS, RALLY SUPPORTS FOR NORTH EAST CANDIDATE
Ahead of the fast approaching By-Election in the Akoko North East and west Federal Constituency in Ondo State, Akoko foremost youth wing of the newly ISOWOPO Council Development Area has visited six different Monarchs in the community on a move to file Akoko north East Agenda.
The group courtesy visit was centred on the need to champion an Agenda for Akoko north East candidate based on the fact that, the seat which was previously occupied by the new minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo who is from the North West area of the constituency
The need for fairness, equity and justice among the two local governments prompted the move, though there was initial rotational agreement between the two council Area, but by the virtue of some political reasons, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo was allowed to hold the office for second term, but as the case is at the moment, God Himself has decided to retrace our political steps to our initial agreement.
As youth group, we felt that this is the best time for us to fight for our right, and we believe that, it is all achievable with the support of our revered Monarchs here in ISOWOPO.
We are standing on this agenda for Akoko North East candidate to represent us at the federal house of representatives in the coming By-Election.
Anything against this would be seen leading to marginalized state which will not be distinguished and desirable for all of in Akoko North East.
We however appeal to all political leaders both in the rulling party and in the opposition party, to see need to keen into our demands in picking candidate from Akoko North East.
We have good and reliable candidates who can perform excellently well here in Akoko North East and by 2027 we will stand to give our full supports to reliable candidate from Akoko north west in the interest of fairness, equity and justice.
It is our turn in Akoko North East and we will not relent until our demands are met and justice is displayed for true development in our federal constituency
