Businessman Mallam Umar Tasiu was reportedly flogged to death by his former in-laws in Minna, Niger State.
On condition of anonymity, a neighbor told Daily Trust that the man had visited his children at his ex-wife’s father’s house, where they live.

“He went to see his two kids, who are staying with his former wife at her father’s house. They had separated, but the children are staying with their mother. He went to see them, and his former in-laws, who didn’t want him to come to their house, tied and whipped him until he d;ed in their house.
“His c0rpse was brought back to his house on Saturday night, and we bur;ed him on Sunday at about 10 a.m.,” the source said.
