NO ESCAPE ! SEE Faces Of Youths Who Reportedly Killed 16 Soldiers In Delta; You Might Know Them
In the wake of a harrowing tragedy in Delta, where armed hoodlums ruthlessly took the lives of 16 valiant security personnel on a peacekeeping mission, a glimmer of hope emerges for those seeking justice. Reports from X, formerly Twitter, indicate a significant development in the quest for justice.
According to sources, Nigerian soldiers have taken decisive action by apprehending several suspects linked to the appalling incident that claimed the lives of brave security operatives. A post shared by a verified user, @Prince85X, displayed images of youths being arrested by the soldiers, signifying a breakthrough in the ongoing investigation.
Amidst the sorrow and outrage, voices of concern and determination resonate across the nation. Gbadebo Rhodes- Vivour, the 2023 Governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, expressed profound distress over the gruesome attack on the soldiers and senior officers in Delta. He condemned the brazen assault on the military forces and called for swift justice to be served.
” I’ m deeply troubled by the gruesome killing of soldiers and senior officers in Delta state. Such brazen attack on our military must be condemned by all and the perpetrators brought to justice, ” Rhodes- Vivour remarked solemnly.
In a plea to the military leadership and the commander- in- chief, he urged restraint in the face of justified anger, emphasizing the importance of avoiding collective punishment on innocent civilians. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, he called for an urgent inquiry into the matter, stressing the need for collaboration with community leaders to root out the perpetrators.
” I plead with the leadership of the
military and the commander- in- chief
to resist the urge (although justifiably
provoked) to unleash violence on the
entire community where innocent
citizens will bear the brunt for the
crime of a depraved few, ” Rhodes-
Vivour emphasized. ” I therefore call
for an urgent inquiry into the matter
and for the cooperation of the
community leaders and
representatives to fish out these
criminals. They must never go
unpunished. ”
