Female Lawyer Accused Of Using Knife & Hot Iron To Burn Her Housemaid Confesses, Exposes What Really Happened [Video]
Mrs Adachukwu, a Nigerian lawyer, has been apprehended by the Nigerian police after gaining attention on social media for allegedly abusing her housemaid with a hot iron and knife.
When taken into custody, the lawyer was displayed by the police and required to provide a detailed account of the events that transpired on that fateful day. When speaking to the media, Mrs. Adachukwu refuted claims of using a hot iron or knife on the maid as initially suggested, instead, she disclosed the extent of the child’ s injuries and explained the actions that led to her reacting angrily.
Identifying herself as Mrs Okafor, she mentioned that Happiness Nwafor is her house helper whom she was introduced to by her niece, her encounter with the niece, she had expressed her preference for hiring a girl aged 17 or 18. However, the niece pleaded with her to keep Happiness temporarily, She had been in my employ for just three weeks when the incident occurred.
“The event transpired on a Monday while I was on my way to the market, as I was en route to the market, my vehicle overheated and was running low on fuel, I had to halt the car, apply water to cool it down, and then proceed with a container to obtain fuel. “” Upon my return, I was taken aback to discover the girl undressed on top my six-year-old son inside the car.
“Upon my outcry, onlookers emerged, prompting her to flee the vehicle clutching her pants, it was the security personnel on-site who apprehended her and delivered her into my custody.” Upon our arrival home, it was already 8pm in the evening, so I purchased a cane from a nearby vendor in front of my residence, which I then employed to discipline her later that night for her action.”
“During the punishment, my son
disclosed to me that this wasn’t the first
time she had behaved inappropriately, he revealed that she had a history of touching him inappropriately while bathing and applying lotion.”” While I was administering the punishment with the cane, she attempted to flee through the kitchen to dodge the blows, leading to an unintended collision with the cooking gas. *This caused the food I had placed on
the stove to spill onto the floor, resulting in her falling along with it, her fall against the gas burner caused her to sustain an injury from the blade of the burner, and she ended up falling onto the hot pot, which caused her to sustain burns on her face. It is important to note that I did not use a knife, iron, or any other object on her during this incident.”
The lawyer’s version of events has caused a lot of reactions with varied opinions on social media. Some people stood with the lawyer’s story especially those who have had cases of housemaid misbehaving, with their children. Whereas others vehemently maintained that she was being deceitful, citing that the housemaid was telling the truth of her madam using hot iron and other dangerous objects on her.
