Osita Chidoka Drops Bombshell, Reveals What Could Have Happened If Either Obi Or Atiku Won 2023 Election
In a shocking revelation, a former Aviation Minister and PDP stalwart, Osita Chidoka, has said that Nigeria would have been in a worse economic situation if either Atiku Abubakar or Peter Obi had won the 2023 presidential election.
He blamed the previous administration of Muhammadu Buhari for destroying the country’s economy and leaving a huge debt burden for the current government of Bola Tinubu.
Chidoka, who spoke on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, said that Buhari’s eight years in power were a disaster for Nigeria, as he squandered the country’s resources and borrowed heavily from foreign creditors.
He said that Buhari’ s government manipulated the foreign exchange rate and sold it to themselves at a low price, while the masses suffered from inflation and scarcity.
He said that any government that came after Buhari would have faced the same challenges, whether it was Atiku, Obi, or Sowore, who were the main opposition candidates in the 2023 election.
Furthermore, he said that the only difference was that Tinubu had the courage to tell Nigerians the truth and make them pay the price for Buhari’ s mismanagement.
However, he also said that Tinubu’s problem was that he did not have the political support of the majority of Nigerians, as 63 percent of the voters did not vote for him.
He said that Tinubu needed to reach out
to other regions and groups in the country and build a national consensus to tackle the economic crisis.
Chidoka’s statement has sparked countless reactions from Nigerians, who have expressed their views on social media and other platforms.
Some have agreed with him that Buhari was the worst president in Nigeria’ s history, while others have criticized him for being a sore loser and trying to undermine Tinubu’s efforts to revive the economy.
